Exams are optional but are a great way to measure your ability and mark your achievements. I use the  ABRSM  exam board for both Piano & Music Theory. For Singing exams I use a mixture of ABRSM and  LCM   depending on wether the student suits more to Pop vocals or more towards Traditional/Classical/Showtune repertoire.  

If you don't wish to do exams that is absolutely fine too! ☺ As long as you are enjoying yourself and working through suitable repertoire (which I will make sure of) you can make just as good progress, or possibly even better! I have seen many a time students getting overwhelmed by exam after exam and have found that taking a break to find new exciting pieces, especially familiar tunes, can help reignite that spark. I use a range of fantastic books for my lessons and like to encourage students to purchase their own books for repertoire, both exam material and for fun.

Included in this fee is your own online portal, separate accounts for parents and students, where you can access everything you need: Calendar to view/book/cancel/amend lessons, helpful resources, practice log, accounts/invoice info (parent only) and more...

For students new to online lessons I would always suggest booking a FREE short set up session of 10 - 15 mins just to check connection, camera positioning, microphone and a chance to properly introduce ourselves before attending a billed lesson.

LESSON BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Lessons run alongside school term time so signing up as a regular student means committing to these specific weeks and reserves you day and time each week. 'Ad Hoc' booking is an option for those who cannot commit to a regular weekly slot.

During school holidays I work on an open diary so you can either take a break or book in for extra tuition during this time.

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy so if more than 24 hours notice is given then a lesson make up credit will be given (two maximum at any one time) to be used within 60 days. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are billable and cannot be rearranged.
